Hi,
I'm from UmeƄ, northern Sweden, and been seriously into dubstep for maybe half a year. Also listen to alot of experimental & improvised music, different electronic stuff, reggae, traditional music and more. Those of u who read The Wire know what i'm talking about.
25 years old, study medicine, play a bunch of instruments but does not produce any electronic music.
DMZ are my favourite dubsteppers so far.

Hello
I'm Sindell357 from Dallas. I'm new to this forum... got turned onto it by the one and only Seckle. I'm here to learn more about the history of dubstep and its current direction and such. I've been into electronic music since the early 90s, I did my share of promoting drum and bass, house and techno events in the Dallas area. But I'm taking a backseat now and enjoying being a spectator again.
I hope to meet some new peeps and maybe run into some old ones as well.

i'm currently based in london but will be moving to toronto, canada in a few months.
currently working as a freelance audio engineer (mostly for tv) whilst not doing my day job (that i love).
i've been a bedroom producer of various genres for a few years, but something is finally telling me that dubstep is where i feel at home.. i'm focusing on getting to grips with the new software and hardware i have.

greetings...
i too had been producing drum n bass for a while as Dave Akuma, but have recently started to really get into the whole dubstep sound as i've grown tiresome of dnb in general...

Made a few posts already but never introduced myself on here - I'm Tom, originally from Cardiff but lived in London for five years before moving up to Glasgow four years ago. Been doing various musical things for the past decade but dubstep has been floating my boat in a big way for the past year or two...
Scottish crew - see you at Home Studios for Digital Mystikz tomorrow...
And London crew - see you at Mass for DMZ in two weeks, flights are booked

Hi, I'm Christine. I came to dubstep from drum & bass, which I also spin, when I can still be bothered listening to it. I enjoy long walks on the beach and dirty, filthy beats.
I recognize a few of you from DOA!

guess i'm a newcomer aswell.
i'm from the netherlands.
i'm into drum n bass for some years now, and just got into dubstep.
first contact was Vex'd playing at a modern electronic music festival called Sonic Acts (with Aaron spectre, Scotchegg, Drop The Lime, Skepta and many more)
then i started listening vex'd for a while withoud knowing there was a whole scene behind that sound. but then de Breezeblock Dubstep Warz thing hit me and i was sold, visited vex'd again (alongside venetian snares, exile and mu-ziq) and now i'm hooked!
