I've noticed that people from East Africa are very small and petite…

I always thought that: does body mass make the fighter or does fighting make the body mass. (I've raised all my tables by putting them on the boxes of lard I found around the back of a liposuction factory)

Apart from being less fat, there are many benefits to always standing up:
snore less (because you sleep less)
no wear & tear on pants
always ready to leave or sing national anthems
can live in smaller houses (no need to accommodate bent knees)
better view
cleaner air
never again wack shins on coffee tables
save money by standing up the back.

(the only smiley with legs)

sorry if you don't have legs but
presumably, not having legs means you're always standing up, even in a chair,
so you're safe.
just don't watch too much tv.
