What an amazing night.

Well worth the trip over from Dublin.

I know it's been said but the sound system and the BASS - sweet jeebus that was earthshaking, I think the whole venue moved a few feet to the left by the end of the night.

To celebrate I just got 10 dread comandments from bleep and now am kicking myself for missing the first few DMZ 12's.

This is exactly the case, I am tech manager at Mass and I urge all you happy, mental ravers to respect our difficult possision. Security are gonna get pissed off if everyone they ask nicely to stop ignores them completely.

On another note, that was the fattest DMZ so far. I never rave when I work but I broke all my own rules that night. Vibe was amasing, tunes were better than anything currently being played anywhere of any genre, and (if I may say so myself) the system sounded HUGE. Anyone who thinks it was better in third base have clearly stuck their heads in too many bass bins over the years.

Big up all those who made it. Fucking amasing gig!!!!!!

Those are some of the most highly respected sub's in the business: Nexo S2. To be fair, it is quite old technology and they have been getting a battering for many years. If you heard any squared off waves from clipping I would like to hear about it, as far as I know the gain structure was running a bit hot but well within its limits.

please get back to me, all comments are welcome!

Well the system was loud and there was plenty of bass, but qualitatively it wasn't all that. It certainly didn't come near the exceptional Dissident system which i heard in the Black Swan at Subloaded 1. That is the best rig i've ever heard, like a very good hifi but very very very very loud. :o

It's hard to define but the bass had that "one note" quality to it... deep and loud but unrefined. But compared to clubs i've been in over the years it was up with the best, and as for 3rd base well i went to the first DMZ and i don;t think it sounded better than saturdays system so that's probably just rose-tinted memories on someones part....
