i USED to know how taht system works

im not some idiot who is jsut backing policy becuase he is seen as the clown. personally i voted becasue of his policy, mainly transport, housing and |NHS budget. also i think that london definatly needs a change from the ken livingstone becasue in my opinion its definatly going down hill

too many people get caught up in the public 'buffoon' image of Johnson, he has a lot more substance that a lot of other politicians.

Could someone explain what the aggro is with bendy buses? I've seen them in manchester but they seems to piss londoners off big time. Boris wants to scrap them and put in place the old buses doesnt he? Surely a massive waste of time.

yeah it is, they're not technically free, but no conductor and dont have to get on/off past the driver...iv never been caught anyway

Has the accident rate really spiralled since they have been introduced? I know that england isnt really the safest place for cyclists anyway. Sorry for all the questions its just something thats always confused me..

It's the Commons as a whole. But for the motion to pass it relys on the support of the backbench MPs of the party in government (i.e. Labour), since they obviously hold a majority.

Brown's doing badly, but I'd be suprised if the Labour MPs looked to forcefully overthrow him in this manner.

The last PM to get overturned like that was James Callahan in 1979 after the 'Winter of Discontent. - things aren't that bad yet!
