+1 layer that bad boy up with a clap on top, I like the way youve used different reverbs on it at different points thats clever.

Hows this for a 2nd dubstep production? I obviously want more tips than feedback. But feedback also.
Thank you

Theres a new track up on my Virb called winter, it's something a little different from what I normally do so if anyone could take a listen I would really appreciate it!

some nice ideas in there, not totally convinced that that really high synth works though, the rest of the melodies are nice but that one makes the vibe a bit ambiguous, maybe that was the idea tho?
Also, I'd be tempted to shift around the kick drum pattern, the current thing doesn't really flow with the hihats atm (hihats sound really nice tho).

Yeah I just had another listen and i think you might be right about the kicks. Which synth did you mean? The sort of sweeping one?

@stapleface where this snippet we were promise?
I just pumped the bass up on "Maximum Damage" (top of the player), any better?

like this tune, for my taste, the midbass is a bit over-fx'd tho, it's verging on finger-scraping-blackboard territory. It's a nice pattern though, so maybe just replace some of it with a slightly less distorted bass? You might be going for that distorted techy thing though so I wouldn't blame you if you ignored this comment!
the drums are MUCH improved from the other tune up there tho, snare and bassdrum are sounding sweet. Could imagine it working well in the dance!

It plays a bit before the piano comes in. It throws the melody off a bit, the slightly lower pad sound that comes in a bit later fits so clearly with the piano, makes me think it might be better without it or with a different melody played.

@monts royal: can't find the original post to quote but arabian dreams is nice. the way the sub moves with the midbass is particularly cool. Only thing I would say is maybe think about a second drop? Mix up the bass pattern a bit and introduce more of that reesey sound maybe?

BluTac is MUCKY ! Very old school grime/garage, absolutely filthy - 4 years ago this would of been a underground smasher, serious.

This tunes quite nice, doesn't really move very much but has some nice sounds a good feel to it, maybe try and everything to blend in the mix a bit more and get some more progression in there.
That pads gorgeous, the drums sit really nicely and progressions really nice.. I would say get some more random sounds in there to space it out a bit more and get some slight panning on the drums.

safe rendr, proper chillin', this one.
i'm feeling an almost-sub woodwind drone in the intro
maybe stick some ridiculously delayed sounds in there as well, my instinct tells me like a radar blip or something like that?
is a nice tune though, sounds pro. I like that vocal sample as well

With Space Case...
The hihat delay is good. The beat is aight... As for your main synth noise I hear short releases then long ones when you change notes and it all sounds like it's rubbing together all the keys and I don't think you're playing chord keys, it sounds like you are just playing random keys?.? I just don't think that your wobble synth noise mixes with the eerie pads you have going, it sounds like a soft synth noise mixed with scary as fuck background noise pads. I think you should go for a harder synth than the one you chose for your main synth noise, keep the same style/setup but a different noise. Try to mix the modulation rate up a bit, kind of like how you have in albinoid. You don't have to go crazy with it but maybe switch it up at the end of the 4th bar, something like that.....
Albinoid
Good workout with the modulation rates, you switch up a lot more on this one than the other. The rhythm of it seems a bit confusing to me. Some cymbals every now and again would spruce it up a bit. A pad every now and again might be in order to give the track some depth. Some more random sounds may liven it up a bit, possibly a dub echo sound, something like that.
Both tracks have a good base to them, but it's the small little detail things that I think may need more attention...
I hope that helps, these were just some things I noticed while listening to each track twice. just trying to make suggestions as you had asked for honesty.

possibly some cymbals or a closed hi hat?......maybe a dubbed out lead synth to give it some character, some color.........Dig the beat and the pad though...werd-
