I've been working on stuff, I don't know if I can even render something. Zoso supposedly had something to send to you.
Like I said before, I'll probably not be participating during this move. Unlike you, fault, I've still been turning in stuff.
But last week, had a beat but couldn't get it together in time, same this week. Maybe I can off my laptop speakers right now... hold on.

Feedback for this week
Bud: I like this track a lot, but I feel like it could benefit from a nice pad and maybe some more percussion. The mix is pretty nice though, I would like a little more thump on the kick, but I cant really tell cause I'm not listening on a good setup. Overall it's a dope track though.
Noways: This is a cool littlel clip, I think I'd like that synth better though if the melody was darker. It would be cool to hear a snare or clap more prominent in the mix and maybe a nice wide washy kind of pad in the background. Not too much to say since it's not that long.
Dfault: Not really my cup of tea, but I think those drums could be louder and could use a short room reverb. I like the rhythms of that little blip and that crunchy loop though. The kick and bass could definitely be louder though, if they were it would be a lot more groovey and danceable.

You preempted my crit of your song: would like it better if it wasn't so dark.
Different strokes.

ok feedback forthis week first last week i try to do today too
@eyesandi
deep vibes has a nice ruffness too it. maybe some sharp freq on some of the snares? tiny bit
love the acapella
yeah groovewise all there maybe some "random" fx chain at places to make it flow even more?
like some long dub delay or some big plate reverb on some of the vocals like god god god or sth ahah dunno could work like looped in the back with some back in the room/mix reverb stereo field combo
but overall really nice you and defaultuzr should collabo at some point :3 heard wuite similar tunes from him
(you reckon i could try my hands on a remix or rework when its done? really like how you worked those samples and acapella)
maybe raise the hi hats little bit in the mix tiny bit
@cc74
dig the beginning alot but the real drop imo should drop slower hm hard to tell i imagined a straight halftime purple/idm drop haha that would be sth rusko meets joker meets cc74 meets kuedo
hm but its not bad dig your melody layering sth i always

adds alot
hm yeah so far nice but i might have approached it dif maybe evne beatless for themost part?! could work too maybe try around with what you have bit more but the melodies work great together
@defaultuzr
:3 4/4 haha like the outside the club sound maybe even do it all the way hi hats everything inside the muffled box and occasioanly open it or open it when the vocals drop like record you walking aorund or sth and open a door or find a sample like this and mr oizo style changes
grooves nice like the percs maybe raise the hi hats more
maybe work the vocals more towards the end? but not too much
yeah i thnk opening up this sample loop here and there could add sth but dunno try it out i guess

Haha didn't realize that. I think it's safe to say there will be a lack of tuna'ing this week due to the holidays though? I know I don't have anything.

thanks for the feedback guys, here's mine
Bud: feeling the arpeggiated synth, the metallic one that comes after the breakdown is quite sick too (i mean the one around 2:34) i feel you could use it more, either bringing it earlier or using it again in the third part (that starts at 3:22). maybe you could cut the arpeggiated one for one section. also it should end less abruptly, other than that nice one!
Zosomagik: good shit! Liking the atmosphere and percussions. I feel the trumpet(?) samples should be a tad louder in the mix, but maybe that just my headphones. also i'd like to hear more variations structure wise, like maybe mute the beats for a small section, break it at times, add random fills, this kind of stuff. also if you export the stems for Bud i wouldn't mind having a go at it too
Nowaysj: this ought to be way longer, all these intertwined melodies and not one is ever solo'ed. not so sure about the snare sample you used,mmm maybe layer it with some snappy clap? also i feel a long reverb on some of these snares would go a long way in the context of this track. but still really good one too, you definitely need to finish this one (and possibly to send me stems for it)

bud: nice choice of acapella. sub kicks perfectly. maybe gate that arpeggio a bit, get a bit of variation in the rhythms through that technique. this track feels more minimal than your usual stuff, i like that. maybe bring in some hats, have an underlying energy to the beat through them
zoso: hmm, maybe get some synth in there? it feels empty for some reason, though frequencies are sufficiently filled up. the beat is nice, but there's something lacking about this... for some reason i can't place what is is

drums are raw though
noway: fuck, madd. don't have much to say about this one
dfault: i see berlin is really influencing you

maybe compress those drums more, get em bangin till they sound like bricks, then resample and layer with more drums and all of a sudden you'll have these mad drums. then put a vocoder on that vocal chop and make him sound like its robocop buying weed
