the only problem for manual transmissions is that there is no cruise control. i hate long trips without it.

There is in newer cars. My mates have Golfs with it but they dont like using it as they dont "trust" it
One swears it goes faster or slower than what they set depending on its mood

Yeah but how much rural/highway driving do you do?
I'd only use it if I'm driving for more than 3 hours straight.
