when the fuck is dancehall coming out
catchy as fuck tune
EDIT: Actually I mean elephant tribeā¦dancehall is OK too tho
Edit2: Actually I didn't mean elephant tribe either lol
There's this tune which was on D&B last year tho, had this sort of weird, catchy synth line but it wasn't one of the overtly synthy tunes AFAIR

Ye man been doing a lot of hip hop indebted stuff lately: http://thesliceprovider.bandcamp.com/
I've done a December/January edition too, but might do something a bit more special for it than a straight upload on here.
My next release which is fingers crossed out mid/late this year will be more on the Mo' Wax/hip hop side. but produced at double time. I say double time hip hop rather than half time dnb coz it's not really got a lot to do with dnb.

Lol at this classist viewpoint of grime. Do you not think "road" guys are busy getting up to "road" stuff and don't really have time to make music? The economic downturn effects drug dealers too lol.
Also i'd like to say coming from a low-income single parent background, that your class has nothing to do with getting into university, I got into uni coz I worked hard to be there, "road" guys, of which I know many, wanna front like they're hard so they don't, being a product of a society you're brought up in, in the UK is ridiculous to me, this isn't Johannesburg. if I was a product of where I grew up i'd be a heroin addict stealing cars.
Music is music, if someone is creative they will make great music no matter who they are or where they're from.

many thanks brudda. Hip hop's always been my biggest influence i'd say. Quite a few of my mates in Brighton are heavily involved with the hip hop scene down there, if you're into uk hip hop you should def check out some names from down that way.

Everyone on High Focus records. Dirty Dike, Jam Baxter, Edward Scissortongue (especially), Contact Play, Running Punch, Rum Committee, Mad Hatter, Leaf Dog, Dr. Syntax, Concept Of Thought, Koaste, Dirty Diggers, Witchdoctor Wise, Elemental, Tom Caruana
Def missing a few, but yeah, excellent stuff from down that way, my uncle used to be in a graffiti crew in the 90's in Brighton, i'm trying to source some beat tapes he made with his crew from back then aswell.
