EDIT: My grandparents used to have a painting hanging over the dinner table similar to one of these shots, as the heated racial, political, or religious debates would rage, I'd get lost in the dunes. Old memories, thx.

Soak your caps in paint thinner overnight. Works 80% of the time. Or buy/steal some graffiti remover and put your caps on it and spray.
