Whaats up Dubstep forum! Newcomer to the forum which is great btw! surprised i didn't find it sooner. :D Huge dubstep fan, I hail from Canada, BC! home to quite a few reputable dubstep artists! I love supporting new artists especially those local to canada! Always searching for new fresh beats, off the beaten track of mainstream dub. I mean i love UKF tracks but lately i've been looking into some really original dubstep tracks, and influential artist. Soo if you guys can suggest any "true dubstep? " tracks that would be great!

P.S. I've been hooked on Minnesota - purple daze lately.

Hi everyone, really awesome site here! Been loving dubstep and generally EDM for a long time now. Am new to the production side of things but I've been a musician and singer for a number of years. Anyways, I look forward to chatting with you all in time and hearing some lush tunes. J

Hello, I'm cellar. It's only just occurred to me to join the forum now after years of being the sole dubstep enthusiast within my circle of friends (fools!).
I love the purple sound madly and deeply, not too keen to keen on the jump-up mid-range stuff, and I regularly push myself to the brink of sanity fiddling with EQs in Reason.
I'm partial to a bit of garage too, I like a bit of a shuffle.

Peace and biscuits.

Hi everyone!
just signed up, and wanted to share a bit about myself.

I first started listening to dubstep some years ago before it really hit the scene in America, i love the filth, darkstep, and even some gabba.
I DO NOT like these guys from a house background like bassnector, skrillex, and deadmou5. they bore me and have really trashed the genre.

I am from saint louis missouri, im 26, and am obsessed with electronic music and having fun!

:W:

This is my first post here. . . . HELLO! :D

I've been interested in dubstep since early 2009, ever since I've been listening to it a lot. Especially in 2010 and 2011, collecting as many tracks as I can and creating some nice playlists of my own. Except recently, I have had less time in checking out tons of new dubstep because I've started to create my own music. I've been producing for about a month now, so I'm just a beginner. Plus, I've had no experience in music before.. Only when I was about ten in a band.

I just joined today because I released my first dubstep track... Which isn't crap... At least I think so. :D

Check out my soundcloud and youtube here:

Perhaps you can join my 6 subscribers on youtube. lol. :)

Hi,

I started listening to dubstep a couple months ago while at school and I hated it, but once I realized that Skrillex and deadmau5 aren't the only ones who produce it I began to enjoy it more. Besides playing classical piano for 10 years I've never been super into music, but if you have extra time feel free to check out my Myspace page, as I really enjoy making not-so-serious tunes.

Cheers

Welcome to the boards. Hopefully you'll find more great music through these forums. Look out for Threnody's and Mad EP's posts (they do shows on SubFM and kill it!). 8)

Yo, I'm Plague Doct3r and this is my story.
I started originally as DJ Raivu when I was making ambient Nujabes-esque stuff, but due to legal issues involving a christian youth group in Wisconsin who's apparently copyrighted the name and doesn't have a good taste in music, I had to change it.
Anywho, I snowboard, shorin ryu, I'm a photographer and I really dig Scooby Doo. Any questions, feel free to ask.
Stay gold, alxemistsssss

Yo,

I'm a Dubstep and Drum n Bass DJ, being doing it for years now and recently I started playing and listening to a lot of dungeon sound and that one way or another led to me finally registering an account here. Stoked to be a part of the boards.
