Can't help but get the feeling that these stupidly hyped "exclusives" have the effect of flooding a record store for one day, only for people to forget about them the next day. I know the thought behind it is positive, but as that discogs link shows, there's too many out there who are just looking to make a quick buck.
Think maybe a Record Store Month would be better in the long term, series of events planned like live sets, maybe staggering the releases to get people in, week in, week out, rather than just April 21st. Perhaps the RSD releases could be exclusive for a set time, like 3 months, to stop the discogs sellers, who know they can't sell it for a stupid amount, knowing that everyone could have it in 3 months time.

anyone else find the vinyl press quality lacking??? I dont want to seek this out only to find tears in the rain sounds no better than what i got with the digital.... i dont collect to collect. i collect to play this shit out proper-
