No, Obama has ideals and has worked his ass off to try to get things done, but the republican party took the senate so they take down EVERYTHING he tries to do and then turn around and accuse him of doing nothing. Obama is a good president, he just needs a senate that isn't dominated by conservative republicans

sorry dude, but fuck you. just because someone doesnt pay taxes yet doesnt make them ineligible to discuss and share his feelings on the country and its direction (which is very much relevant to his own life). i fucking hate that attitude

Yeah deadly I respect your opinion and where you're coming from, so I'll shut up now but shouldn't I have the right to be involved in the country that my generation is going to inherit and eventually govern?
Just sayin'
But I'll leave this thread and stop being a little prick now :w:

To be honest, Romney, Paul, and Obama can all take a step back and literally fuck their own faces.
The American democracy system is too flawed for me to care anymore. If they wanted change, it would have happened years ago. All I want is legal bud and a country with a good economy and less poverty.

im sorry but teenagers who cant and dont vote can fuck off, they have shit to do with the economy besides inheriting it, if they wanna be involved they should chat with their parents
im sick of people who dont vote or kids who bitch about the system and have 0 to do with it acting like its so flawed when they do 0 or can do dick to change it
if you bitch about change but dont vote, shut the fuck up
if you are too young to vote, by all means get educated but shut the fuck up
if you can partake and dont guess what shut the fuck up
we need active participants for change not people who armchair activism
i have no problem being blunt about this
so many armchair bs activists that need to just plain shut the fuck up
go back to kony 2012 or your bs fake ideals for a week and leave the real world to those that care

I'm gonna agree with you 100% on this but I see where he's coming from. Most young teens talk out of their ass when it comes to politics. Usually it's just a matter of what your parents believe until you read into it. I started getting into politics when I was 11, and since then my views have changed tremendously. I went from liberal, to borderline communist, to moderate liberal. Now I really don't put myself in a party because both parties are bullshit (what kind of party doesn't have solid Molly?) but over time I've adopted some more conservative views on certain issues, but the current republican party is a literal freakshow. I'll stick with democrat until a good third party enters the battle. But what Sonika said is absolutely true. I've never in my life heard of such public immature behavior from politicians.

so essentially you're saying people too young to vote should shut up and only get the opinions of their parents to form their political and economic opinions because they shouldn't talk to other people?

no i'm essentially saying talk to your parents if you care, if your old enough to vote and you dont, but bitch shut the fuck up
kids have their parents idea of the world if they work i wish they could vote
if their parents pay for them in the world well then they have no reason to vote
im sorry teens know little of the world
send em to war or work and then let em vote

what the country does is there choice, if i dont like it i can move
dont say i pay taxes, thats your choice of living here same with any country
you're not a citizen, so dont bitch about citizens choices
if you had a green card etc or naturalized you could vote, im sorry if it's dickish, but you know the usa process

I've been working and paying taxes since I was 14, and I'm now 17. Can't vote, but I can still be involved politically. I regularly debate politics with teachers, neighbors, etc. I've written multiple political essays and I stay updated and know my shit. Should I shut the fuck up? I'm not saying your being an asshole, because I really do get where you're coming from, but generalizing people over age is quite ignorant.
