to be fair though, i think the digi was a smart move. people are gonna complain either way ("omg it needs to stay vinyl only" vs. "i was supposed to get a copy but didnt, i at least want digi")

as bad as this whole thing was, if that blawan stuff comes out on hinge finger, i'm gonna be forced to buy from them again no matter how much i dont want to

sorry but where did it ever state that this would be vinyl only, or that this label would be vinyl only? When it initially popped up for pre-order, even on Honest Jons there was a digital purchase option too before they took it all down for a while.

Still seems shady. I'm not really too bothered about there being digital, but the vinyl situation was MAJORLY fucked up. I was super lucky to cop one from Chemical, but feel for those left empty-handed.

some of us are just vinyl snobs who want nothing to ever be released on digital. ever. i dont think anyone is ACTUALLY getting upset about the digital option, myself included. hopefully it brings in some extra (well-deserved) cash to the label, artists, etc.

also: this label owes nothing to anyone. if you are really mad that the record is too expensive, or because you couldn't get a copy, or because it didn't smell as nice as you were hoping when it arrived, then don't buy the next release. simple as that. by the that time though, everyone will be over it and will be mad about some other thing.

this record is good, but there are so many other records that are also good.
