Didn't know they were going to be see-through either. Gunna be great with my white slipmatts :|
You didn't get a download code? I'd double check, my code was screwed up at the back of the box, even shaking didn't get it out, took me ages to realise it was in there.
I thought there was, I'm at uni and my vinyls are at home so had to get my mum to check.. she said there wasn't one so I guessed they wasn't giving out download codes. Back on the phone...

Edit: what a monger she was checking in the cardboard box instead of the record box. She never fails to surprise me.

for people moaning about the clear vinyl, the boxset is probably supposed to be a collectors item, thats the point of a box set. The single 12"s will probably be black wax for all you mixers out there. If its not though then I dunno haha.

Also (if in London) shoulda come down to phonica last night for the album launch, think the guys brought some test presses down so could have got them in just white sleeves for 30 quids.

Meh I'm not bothered about the clear vinyl at all, and I definitely plan on mixing these a lot. So you can't see the grooves that well? That's what headphones are for lol

tunes are of all quality and very fun to mix

glad to see an older david kennedy track on it (not that i dislike his work now), probably my favourite in the compilation.

The tunes on this compilation are pretty much the easiest tunes to mix I've ever mixed with!

i'm gonna stop moaning, all right, but you must have some good headphones if they can map out a song's structure for you.

I dunno, in one of the rips Ben said it was an older track and that rip was from october. To me it sounds like it could be from the Blue Eyes/Blanked times? Still though, doesnt sound that far off from what he is doing now haha, but i think his stuff is a bit more mad now

can't always tell when the runout grooves start if the two tracks are different lengths but other than that, i don't think it does
even that's barely a problem
