anyone got any tips/suggestions for driving to outlook? we're planning on taking my mates car and driving there and back. is there anything to look out for on the way border/drugs/drink/driving wise? (we're leaving from west ldn) what was the rough fuel cost overall?

Another American that's Outlook bound here...
Leaving for Sardinia on the 10th of Aug, flying to Munich on the 23rd, hiring a car to do a small tour of croatia, and then heading to Pula on the 28th. CAN'T wAIT!
