Speaking of Skrillex, this has got me going on about the whole Aphex Twin thing again. I have nothing against Aphex Twin, in fact I really like Aphex Twin, SAW I is brilliant, but you know it's bad when a purported "dubstep" producer's main influence is basically a techno artist. I know that I am being very presumptuous right now, but I assert that Skrillex has hardly listened to dub reggae or UKG. Seeing how a lot of good dubstep producers such as Distance have odd influences, this may seem like an arbitrary complaint. However, even Distance knows of the history of dubstep; consequently, he can dubbed as a dubstep producer.

Also, Skrillex's favorite "song" is Flim. Off the Come to Daddy album.
