please post a tutorial man.please

I wouldn't count on him!

I wouldn't either to be honest, keep experimenting you'll get some nice sounds of your own soon! The growl doesn't need to be all that special, if its in the right context it will sound good either way. Omega your growls are sounding pretty good man! Look forward to the tut;)

Thanks man, all i have to do is write on the screen shots and upload a read me file and the growl is yours unless you have FL and all these plugins. Massive, Ohmicide, guitar rig5. That's pretty much it!

ETA on the tutorial? Really stoked to see it

I have been working things out with the growl and its not as hard as it was before but I have a .flp file with my old growls and you all can start from there... The growls are the ones you hear in this song.

Yeah I wouldn't mind it, I like the texture, though I'm pretty sure that solely coming from whatever distortion plugins your using post massive.

Is there a way you could talk about how you made the growl or something because I don't have FL and I'm really interested in it

i usually use sytrus and i make a simple fm bass by modulating operator 1 wich is a sine by operator 2 winch is a triangle and then i go to operator 1 settings and fiddle with it so that the x knob controls the vowel movement. even after that it is a little less than clean so i mess around with opperator 2 oscillator harmonics and usually raise a bar in the lower section and mess with the phase. after that i like to add delay at very low time creating a metal and cling sound

literally all this patch is, is a sin modulated by another sine modulated by a formant 10 wave in fm8. after that i automated a eq with a large spike to make it more vowelly.
after that very very minimal effects. a little bit of high end reverb and maybe a mostly dry vocoder.
hey man can i get your patch or a picture of what you fm8 looks like?

Okay, so I need to frequent this thread more. I'm looking for some tips cause every time I make something I always feel that there's something I've missed that's really obvious to more experienced people.
Soundcloud
So, this is with a little processing and I've bounced it to audio so as to add a ton more processing but I'm not really sure where to start. Any tips any of you could give me would be very much appreciated.

Living Tragedy: That sounds insane. I have no tips, just wondering how you made that to begin with.
Alan Adobe: What patch?
