11am is quite a nice time to start work - especially as I'm finishing work at 6 tonight.

It's an apartment block, I don't want to risk having rubbish collection cancelled for everyone. Just need to remember to keep the window shut Tuesdays I guess

I feel a melancholy coming on. It's not gonna be fuckin good. Can't write tunes, can't remember things that I wanted to do that are really cool for tunes and creativity, bugged out, and schools starting soon. This could be the work of sleeping at 5 AM every night and waking up at 3 or 4 PM. I don't know.

My grandad (also 97 (I think)) has got a couple of days left I think, had a couple of falls recently, had another one yesterday, hit his head and hasn't woke up yet. Still, been a long life!

Cheers guys. Yeah she has done very well. She was still really active and went out alot up to the age of about 90. She went peacefully in her sleep, it was just been hard seeing her fading the way she did. She really had no quality of life lately. It sounds bad, but its kinda a relief, especially for my Mum who has been having to take care of alot.

Not a bad thing to say at all, a lot of hard work, emotionally and physically draining and sometimes there isn't much of a reward if they are only getting worse.
Sorry for your loss.

For a year or so before my nan died, she had absolutely no idea who my mum was. She used to swear at her and tell her to leave her alone. Then she would ask for my aunt (she lived near and saw my nan nearly everyday at the time, whereas my mum only went up at weekends towards the end).
