My boss has just popped out the office for a cigarette and as soon as the door closed behind her she took the opportunity to rabbit on about something in the news yesterday. I told her i didnt know what she was taking about, stared at my computer and went straight for this thread to vent my annoyance. She didnt take the hint becasue she is still talking as i type this and has even emailed me a link about the news event she was talking about. SHUT THE FUCK UP FOR 5 MINUTES!!!
Mate, I really gotta be careful coz Ive probably lost every job ive ever had due to losing my temper and lashing out against an annoying colleague. Serious. Im like a ticking timebomb, i try to simmer until i boil over the edge and burn someone. Ive sparked about 2 bosses and a colleague, had to be escorted of property numerous times and have even had work pay for anger management classes. Im a passive agressive apparently. Maybe your problem is giving hints. I have quite a high tolerance level of people but I find if someone is doing something I know will slowly push me over the edge I'll tell them one to one that on a personal level such and such irritates me. Giving hints arent good enough really, everyone has to work with wankers at some point or another but you cant be getting fired for snapping due to working with people you dont get on with especially as you get older. Id like that ive grown up in the last couple of years and learnt my lesson from being unemployed and penniless with a mortgage to pay but every now and then i can feel that rage build up in me and when its released it really isnt pretty.
I pray for my sake and hers that she just gets my hints, keeps the noise down and lets me get on with my work...
