Here's an edit of 'Spring Affair' by Donna Summer and Giorgio Moroder. I can't really take any credit but it has taken me fucking ages to do this, about 30hrs I'm guessing (if I'd have known it'd turn into such a mission I probably wouldn't have started!).

Probably needs more work, perhaps using the filter ending as a breakdown....tried for hours though and it doesn't seem to work. So I'll leave it at this for now before the loop drives me insane.

Do you think that vocal fits?
The tune would be pretty damn solid without the vocal.

I mean I dunno it was just really for the fuck of it, I couldn't imagine the tune without the vocal since it was made around the vox, it'd probably be pretty repetitive don't you think?

Not sure but imo even the sparse sections of the tune don't sound right with the vocal.
If you wrote the tune around the vox surely you noticed the bongos/congas don't fit the vox?
I mean I've listened again and the vocal really doesn't fit.
Your synth work in the background is even in a different key.
You have track breaks with vocal bits that are mid chorus, etc.
First mini break "they say we too young...." and then drops mid verse.

If you want to go all in then do it right dude.

Imo, the track is good without the vocal.

Don't mean to be overcritical though, just see promise in the backing track.

/\ in other words take that shitty sean kingston stuff out so we can enjoy the music please
