Hi everyone. I'm 25 years old and I've been producing dubstep for about a year now (other genres since 2009) , but still consider myself pretty amatuer. I prefer the likes of the dubstep style some call liquid and prefer bass lines that have movement such as Mt Eden Dubstep. I've only just now started focusing on the importance of mixing and before that just slapped a soundgoodizer on the master mixer and called it a day.
A few things I'd like to learn about (no idea on how to do):
Resampling with Massive and Fl Studio to make FAT SICK Wobbles
Taking vocals from any track to create a remix of that track
Ohmicide ( I bought it and never knew how to properly use it to create awesome effects)
Slicing and editing sounds with edison
My equipment:
DAW: Fl Studio Pro Edition
Plugins:
Nexus
Massive
Ohmicide
Isotope Ozone 4
I really hear Razor by Native instruments is really good and makes for more of the 'crazy' sounds.
Come say hello and I'de be appreciative of any feedback from my soundcloud.

Hi all! I'm Zach and I just turned 20. I'd like to try my hand at producing some dub filth and see how far I can go with it. I hope to be using Reason and Massive in the near future. I know they're pretty generic and widely used but once I get my hands dirty and have the opportunity, I'd like to try analog hardware one day.

Hi all! I just turned 14 last month and I;m from Brighton! I've been listening to dubstep for about 2 years now. I made my first track a week ago, using my laptop and garageband. I prefer mixes with acapella in dubstep. I've never learnt to use a mixer, but would like to soon, and make mixes of songs. For now, I'm stuck using my keyboard to make music ;P.
If anyone from Brighton is here, I would love to know!

Hi all DubPeople. This is my first time I'm here on the Forum.
For those who interested how I found here: I was watching Datsik interview and he said someting about dubstep forum.
Short story about me.
Allways loved music. Random -> mainstream -> hiphop -> techno -> Trance -> hard techno -> hardstyle -> hardcore -> psytrance -> Dnb -> dubstep. And somewhere in between I loved rock and other emo bands, so untill now I practically love "MUSIC", thought I never listen to RnB.
I allways wanted to ba a Dj and wanted to make my own music. And in the 8.th grade my musical teather introduced me to Reason 4 (I think). And I starded to make my own shitty music on compter (My thought on my music back in the days from todays perspective.)
Hope you will understand me when I say that I am half drunk writing this because I got acces to this forum 18 o'clock someting on the new years eve. So I am drinking wine and smoking cigarette while writing this. (also listening to Bassnectar)
If you have any question I can answer those in a couple of days when I'm sober. Anyhow I guess this will tell about me more than I could write in text, this is my soundcloud profile http://soundcloud.com/DimitriT
I wish everyone happy new year.. <3333

Hello... I'm Matt. I go by the alias HaveThat. I've been at this for a while but just stumbled upon your site looking for producing tricks. Great site you've got here.
Hi!! My name is Randy and I'm from Louisiana. I absolutely love music, especially dubstep. My favorite thing to do is make dubstep remixes of popular songs. I mainly use Logic Pro and Massive to make all my songs. I'm super excited I found this website!!
I recently started working on a remix of Music by Basslovers United. Here's the beginning, let me know what you think
Hi!
My name is Dennis.. a 26 yeared producer from Denmark.
Have produced for 11½ years now, started with harddance under the artist name "Freddy Hawk".. then I went total Pop, RnB, HipHop for about many years.. I kinda never really "got that excited" about Pop/RnB, but harddance "was dead".. and yeah.. 1 year ago.. I heard "Skrillex - Kill everybody".. that was the first "Dubstep" i ever heard..?
- Since I have been hook'ed like an junkie.. can't help it.. so Dubstep gaved me that "rush" again.. the exiting - "Can't wait to wake up tomorrow, and continue producing" feeling..
.. So seems like Dubstep is my call.. and also miss the dj'ing gigs and stuff (From harddance times..)..
.. Hi.. i'm !nfam0us.. a fulltime dubaholic.. Have been sober for about.. ehh.. 10 min?.. Hey.. that's a start!?
- "Hi !nfam0us..".. *lazy applaus*..
