I don't think that this is true.
tbf just a bit sick of seeing everyone complaining about it. like yeah, people been waiting on these tunes for a decade but i never expected it to come out so anything's a plus... and it's actually kinda nice to see since i've been put off buying dubstep since the few tunes which i like get rinsed to death as soon as they come out by every single dj

i understand the frustration (and i'm sweating about getting a copy lol) but it fits into BH's way of releasing and will keep the tunes special (which has been said lots as a justification for them not coming out by people on here)

as much as i want these tunes, I don't understand why people are being so precious of them?

if i get it.. great.
if i don't theres plenty of other tunes i'll spend my money on.

it does stops everyone getting tired of the tunes as everyone will be playing them out otherwise until we're sick of em. (not like i even go out anymore)

i think its quite funny tbh.

The moment it's released, it will be ripped and plenty of people will have it. If Loefah and co. don't want it to be overexposed, release the tune to a handful of select DJs. IMO either keep it to yourself or press enough to give the people that have waited YEARS a decent chance to own it.

at least if you see someone playing a rip of it you know how they acquired it though...

that was aimed at the people who were giving loefah shit for not releasing (some of) his old dubs. of course even now you're not entitled to anything either, however if you do release those tunes, why not do it properly?
signing two of dubstep's biggest anthems to a (techno) label (with a gay name and a german bundesadler as their logo), who clearly are more interested in building up their own hype and creating a novelty item instead of finally giving the fans what they've been longing for for a decade, is a straight piss take. when you willingly accept that you gonna piss off a lot of people who have been supporting your shit for years, just because they might not be able to be online the time it gets released, you shouldn't be surprised when people call you out.

Doesn't stop anyone now and won't stop anyone doing it in the future as 99.9% of a crowd either won't know or won't care.

I agree with this. I'll be the first to shut anyone up when they whine about dubplate culture but this has nothing to do with that. This is just some straight hipster bullshit.

miracles rmx is still big though, if a tunes big, it's big imo. Sure it may be boring if you hear it all the time but that's true for every song tbh, it's not like you have to listen to it, and if it comes on during a night I doubt it will be played the entire night, just go like piss or something

Yeah a big tune will always become like the flavour of the month and get played by everyone but after the hype dies down and you go back to dig that record up... :i:

also all you dickriders chatting shit about how ppl need to be grateful LOL

it's true that being a fan doesn't make you entitled to anything, but an artist that doesn't respect their fans doesn't deserve a single fan.

anyone that doesn't see this as a massive piss take and a giant slap in the face to all who attended dance after dance over the years hoping to hear this tune only once is deluded.

again, suck a fat dick Loefah :t:

seems a bit over the top considering he made the tune and can frankly do whatever the fuck he wants with it.

that being said my f5 button is going to get a fucking workout. does anyone know if it will be going online at midnight (ba doom tsh) and at what time zone?

nah. antiwar dub was released on vinyl, CD and digital (via mary anne hobb's comp) and has been played by countless djs and remains every bit as special. if a tune needs some publishing tactics to maintain its speciality, then maybe it was just not that special in the first place (not saying midnight isn't).

"hey guys, we're sitting on some big tunes here. how about we just cash in, press up a fuck tonne and make some $$$ rather than run the label like we intended"
