I'm still a bit unsure of these characters. I downloaded Bastard a few months back and was mildly impressed, then found out that Frank Ocean was a member of OF to great surprise - his mixtape is sick, but totally opposite of the stuff Tyler & Co. put out. The Goblin album is pretty average, the standouts are great though (She, Yonkers, Nightmares, Transylvania). They are a bunch of teenagers (heck, Tyler is the same age as me) having fun and getting attention that they weren't seeking.

I'll be honest, though yknow, I try not to buy into the over-hype with shit like this, I'd love to go to one of their shows. It looks intense.

And I listened to the songs the OP posted and they really suck..they remind me of lil wayne lol.
the JMT/Outerspace/AOTP collective is way better imo

it is. the crowds are often filled with douchebags and the latest one i went to was a fucking sausage fest with a bunch of sweaty guys taking their shirts off, but it doesn't matter... the energy that they bring is unmatched. so much fun

Sometimes really wish that music culture didn't taint the artform so much.

Also Tim Westwood is just completely insufferable.

im seeing them in the summer, and very excited about it too. they remind me of slipknot a bit too much at times though

They remind of every other black boom bap hip-hop artist I've ever heard...

Sounds like a brostep show, minus the shirts off (for the most part). But thats no fun, right?

I don't really like hip-hop but I like some of these guys stuff.
