Flat out addicted already...first installed thought it was average but after giving it a good hoon for a few days im in love..Havn't really found anything im not happy with yet apart from the graphics..they hardly seem a step up from BC2 but its xbox...can't really expect much from a 5-6 year old console.

Bring on full release, curious to see how hard the jets are gonna be too fly with the xbox controller

tried it on pc, though it was so stupid i have to go through my internet browser to join a server (which i never got in btw) it just kept saying matchmaking. Maybe because my gfx card isnt good enough? . so i uninstalled it. BUt im still playing the shit out of it on xbox.

Download the latest driver for your gpu, same was happening for me, turned out to be that my drivers was too old

This beta is so glitchy. I'm getting stuck in the floor, stuck in rocks n shit when I try and jump over them and getting killed by brehs that haven't even run around the corner yet. I'm still enjoying general game play but I hope to god these glitches are ironed out before release.

2. - Beta testing is made to find bugs and glitches. If they didn't fix them, what would be the point of the testing in the first place?

Ping is latency between the game server and your computer. (basically a delay between when the player actually shoots and when your computer registers when he shoots)
Say you have a ping of 90ms, if someone shoots at you, the bullets will hit you (on your screen) 90ms later.

Not 100% sure how it works (correct me if im wrong)

No worries. Is this only relevant for betas? I noticed this before on bc2, cod etc but not to this extent.

My only gripe with the beta was using operation metro instead of something that had vehicles, like every battlefield map should.

I think that is because they are trying to compete with COD and are trying to show a level that is similar/as good without vehicles.

No it's always relevant but it's possible you'll get 'better ping' or less latency on the full release. When I played counter-strike we
rejected matches that were played on servers where we had more than 40 ping

I'm not big on it, but that's cos I fucking hate Rush. Can't to play some Conquest.
The new classes are properly clever though.

I reakon they've done it bloody well..its balanced etc....apart from novice team mates blinding you mid battle its an awesome feature

Tactical lights just make you stick out like a sore thumb when your trying to hide, makes you an easy target tbh

They cause panic the first time you see them. After that you learn to shoot at it. Works well but it causes me no problems.

I'm fully loving the beta so far, got it on ps3. I can't wait till the real thing comes out and the squad system is actually working! BF games are purely about team work, communication and strategy and shit. Nothing better than 2 teams of a couple of squads all working together properly and knowing the maps well, fucking next level.

the glitches on the beta are really annoying to be fair but what can you expect from a beta. Oh and the graphics ARE going to be AMAZING on full release, they downgraded pretty much everything to cap thge beta download at around a gig, they cut back on graphics, physics and all kinds of other stuff a lot to squeeze it in, so expect much better graphics and smoother shit on full release.
