(Obviously as Fandango, not counting Curtis' earlier work)
That's my point... the match told his entire story from jobber to midcarder in one fell swoop. Jericho beats the living tar out of him for 10 minutes and then he sneaks a victory - it's the 1.2.3 Kid trajectory only done with a heel.

$10k challenge coming up?

The Raw crowd was an all time classic, incidentally. I actually rewatched matches just for the chanting... Fandango's theme was quality, but the way they launched into Mark Henry's was awesome. BEAT 'EM UP!
They either need to hold more shows in NJ or introduce extremely cheap booze to all their events.

Just seen the Smackdown results, another non-title loss for Cesaro
They need to fast track Chris Hero/Kassius Ohno to the main roster from NXT, take the US strap from Cesaro and have a Kings Of Wrestling reunion.
Possible future booking for Ziggler;
Extreme Rules:
Tables match; Ziggler (c) VS Swagger VS Del Rio.
Since Swagger did most of the work in defeating Del Rio tonight he would make this a triple threat match where Ziggler wins by putting swagger through the table.
Payback:
Ziggler (c) VS Del Rio
Del Rio feels screwed again as he was not the one to lose at ER and he gets one last match, but Ziggler goes over clean.

Someone who's job is to lose in order to make the top talent look better, like the Brooklyn Brawler... or Brock Lesnar.
Fandango's theme is in the top 40. Drink that in for a second.

Oh yay, another midcard title for Kofi. Awesome.
At least it frees Cesaro up to have a run at a world title...

Seems a bit too early for Cesaro to go for the World, but I think you're probably right... what rasslin' needs is a proper feud over the Intercontinental title. Kofi/Barrett/Miz/Cesaro/Big E/Fandango/Sandow - stop putting them all into little bitty feuds in pairs and put them all in the hunt for the title culminating in a PPV tournament. Someone would make their career and the title would be returned to some semblance of glamour.
But they'll probably just keep defending it on Main Event and shit.
The US title is and always has been rubbish. Bring back the Light Heavyweight as the "TV title" so that some proper wrestling gets seen each week.
Del Rio needs to turn back heel. He's the worst face in the world.

There's talk of Extreme Rules featuring a double ladder match for both the IC and US titles...which would be interesting.
And yes, Light Heavyweight title needs to make a comeback and a bit of credibility back into it. Same with IC and US TBH, having both champions repeatedly lose in non-title and then Miztard's <24hr reign was just backwards.
Ideally for Cesaro is that they call up Kassius Ohno from NXT and have them pair in the tag division. Speaking of which, here's Cesaro doing 100 spins;

Perhaps unification to make way for another title is on the cards then?
Is that the one that was supposedly dropped from WM so Diddy could do an extra song?

All the funnier with an awkward looking Danielson in the background
Pre-show The Miz vs. Cody Rhodes (Singles match)
1 Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger ("I Quit" match for the #1 contendership to the World Heavyweight Championship)
2 John Cena (c) vs. Ryback (Last Man Standing match for the WWE Championship)
3 Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H (Steel Cage match)
4 Sheamus vs. Mark Henry (Strap match)
5 Randy Orton vs. Big Show (Extreme Rules match)
6 Chris Jericho vs. Fandango (Singles match)
7 Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Dean Ambrose (Singles match for the United States Championship)
8 Team Hell No (Daniel Bryan and Kane) (c) vs. The Shield (Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins) (Tornado tag team match for the Tag Team Championship)
Predictions
1) Del Rio
2) Cena
3) Lesnar
4) Sheamus or no contest
5) Orton
6) Fandango
7) Ambrose
8 ) Reigns & Rollins
Kofi/Ambrose has the potential to be a classic.

No chance IMO, they need to take the Shield momentum somewhere. Having them all fail in their first title matches would just be a slap in the face.

1) Del Rio with a face turn for Big E
2) Cena
3) Lesnar, he's got to win a match eventually.
4) Henry
5) Orton
6) Fandango
7) Ambrose
8 ) The Shield
Could actually be a pretty good show!

Like Survivor Series, With their WWE contracts on the line...If they lose their matchs at Extreme Rules, then they can start cutting promos about destroying this, that, and the other. Also they can start recruiting, giving the shield more power, and break some of the NXT guys into WWE, like Ohno, Graves and El Generico (Sami Zani or whatever the hell the WWE have named him), even pair them with Punk, and Lesner. Have Them go up against a team WWE; Kane, Bryan, Kofi, Cena, Ortan, or some other faces. Though Survivor Series is quite a longtime away, so they would have to drag it out abit, with out making it boring.
I also thought Ambrose could win his match, and the other two could lose their match. Then they could of gone down the route of him being disappointed with the other two, and them being envious of him, but that would only really end up with a triple threat for the usa title at Summer Slam, or some c-list ppv. Rollins is very good in the ring, but his mic game is pretty weak. Reigns can do a powerbomb, and can say "believe in the Shield". He's only in the WWE, because of his family. They're not ready to be champions yet, and if they were champions I couldn't see it doing them, or the titles any good. Ambrose is a amazing in the ring, on the mic, and is very likable, he would do much better on his own with the usa title, and without the other two holding holding him back, but I don't think they want to bury them just yet.
wub wrote: Having them all fail in their first title matches would just be a slap in the face.
Thats pretty much what the WWE is for most people, they might aswell get use to it. Reigns will be released in about a year, Rollins will job for a few years, might get a short IC run if he is lucky. Ambrose has potential to be almost as good as CM Punk, but will most likely get screwed up, and end up TNA champion in a few years time (i couldn't see him in TNA tbh lol)
You're all just trick ass marks, for believing in the shield
I might change my mind on all my predictions, after I have seen this weeks Smackdown...

Shield win the tag titles, Ohno gets promoted to main roster, reunites with Cesaro to reform Kings Of Wrestling, challenges Shield for tag titles at Survivor Series
Also, quite gutted with the news that Sami Callihan has signed a development deal with WWE as it'll take him out of the indies like PWG

I don't think WWE would do that, though Cesaro could do with a partner, because he ain't going nowhere atm, and the tag team division is dead. Though I imagine that if WWE was to team him up with someone, they would go with marella, because they are both european, and would probably make a good comic double act. I think one of the reasons everyone thinks the Shield will win the tag team titles, is because how dead the division is, and how the shield feel like the first team that could actually beat them. I imagine that they will get DQ'ed in both the matchs, to keep them looking credible. Then they could cut some promos, about how they don't want to win titles in the WWE, and just want to destroy everything that is wrong with it, to build to SS.

The only indies I really watch nowadays is ROH, and Chikara, so I won't be missing him much. I might try, and watch a few of his matchs to see what the hype is.
