there used to be a lot more post-revision of posts 07 to 09
so I used to print off threads at work
got folders & folders of em
don't know whether I'll live long enough to go thru them
but just saying otherwise deleted threads may still exist.

nothing gets revised or edited unless....

1. we get a run of complaints or its highly controversial, etc.
2. it breaks our rules that have changed over time. from less severe at one time, to our current rules, etc.
3. it gets legal, or potentially legal for DSF by remaining online.
4. it contains words that are now listed under parental control...ie hundreds of words and topics now, that 4-6 years ago were not even an issue. parental filtering is a science now, back then it didn't exist.

i'm just saying that threads from way back don't get revised, edited or deleted, unless its something related on that list above. people think we spend time doing things, and the reality is so far from that.

there's been lots of revisions of posts including quotes...I presume DSF doesn't have access to all versions, just the final (current) versions?

an advantage of these hard copies is that they contain original images, profiles etc.
