A friend made me listen to Shit and Shine, so I thought I'd share it here... the whole EP is very good imo.

Yeah definitely! A bit more varied than what else I've heard from them, feels like a proper long player.
If anyone is interested, the new Vessel album "Punish, Honey" on Tri Angle can be heard over on Pitchfork ahead of its release next week. Really really like it so far.
New Earth album is very good. Get it on vinyl though because you get an extra track that's real good.

even though i generally find today's post-dubstep or beats or whatever the hell it's called really boring and uninspiring, and don't really listen to it, i actually thought these guys might be on to something.
Seeing Shackleton, Vessel, Container and motherfucking Islam Chipsy in a old police station in October WOTWOTWOTWOT!

New Earth album is helped by being blasted super loud and on vinyl. It sounds great sonically and I've been back on my massive home stereo system for the week.
New Vessel is pretty cool yeah. Little heavy on the sheet metal and plate reverb vibe but definitely good.

Also, I'm super late on this but the new Swans is really great. Not overly familiar with their work but this has definitely gotten me into their back catalogue
