Maybe it's to do with Skream being there (not dissing skream here)/DNB mass migration?

Blinding sets from both of them. Both were deep in different ways, without ever becoming beard-stroking. Both taking time to build it over the hour. Respect. Just a shame the system wasn't so loud for DQ.

Ye might be the dnb thing. Posted about the 2 dnb heads who were unlucky enough to have me start chatting to them lol. Jump up heads who were bitching about how shit it was early on.

If you had been at dub police the week before with caspa and rusko...that was a rave with too many pricks thinking it was some kind of massive rugby match and knocking people over and getting lairy of anyone touching them. Though it was fabric, and it was playaz in room 1.

DMZ had in my view a nice crowd, built up nicely early on with some deep stuff before dmz, then hit pitch with dmz and skream. And to be honest chef and kutz maintained it very nicely after skream.

I did notice people leaving right after skream which was a bit unfair on the last 2 guys to play.

It always tend to start clearing out by 2-3, never figured out why though as the last sets are always as awesome as the rest of the night. Semi-gutted I didn't make this one, must definitely get to the next one!!!

Yeah I was bit pissed off cuz all my mates wanted to leave around 3.30 and as I was planning on staying to end and getting the first tube home, had to leave with them and stay at a mates. Was a bit gutted because we only got in about 12 BECAUSE we were planning on staying until the end. When your paying £10 to get in and drinks are quite expensive you wanna make the most of it and see the night out, hope they are more up for it next time round

You are lucky then, victoria line was running saturday but not sunday. I had an epic journey back to north london.

Bus to Trafalgar sq. Wait....realise the night buses (N20) is no longer running, go to leicester sq, wait 30mins for an edgeware train, change at camden.

Get on the rail replacement at east finchley, it is going to some next out of the way station of the route of the main line, get another rail replacement bus and get home.

It shouldve been 2 buses .

i think the tune Mala opened up with is by Mark Pritchard?

wow I am lucky then cuz I don't know bus routes at all so suppose my mates did me a favour ha. saying that, one of the reasons we left so early was last bus back to my mates halls was at 20 to 5 or somthin like that and cuz we faffed around with food and missing bus after bus out of pure stupidness we ended missing the last bus and having to pay for a taxi and getting back at like 6.30, making us leaving so early really pointless

I thought i woudnt write a review as i dont like being negative about something as someone wisely said; if you dont like it keep it for yourself and dont spread them negative vibes but i ll give it a go..

queued up like half an hour maybe more but thats ok, bouncer who was searching me spilled half of my baccy on the floor because he was looking for drugs or whatever; he did not even apologise. got in when dave q was about to finish his set; such a shame as from what i read here the first sets were more deep and soulful compared to the mid-range wobblemania that was on afterwards. music taste though is totally subjective and im not a music fascist really, did not have no real high expectations seeing the line-up before but couldnt hide my dissapointement. re rewinds; what was that about? in my honest opinion totally kills the vibe and the flow of the set, i noticed i was just about to have a good skank whenever a tune got pulled back. rewinds worked and works great with dub music but not with the aggro faster wobble electronic stuff; two different things! liked a coupla tunes from everyone, but i doubt i spend more than 10-15 mins in the dancefloor...crowd was way too different to the dmz i went like 3 years before, many drugged up kids and rudeboys who were after fights, and not the good vibes everyones been talking here about...surely there were many people who were safe and pushing good vibes but not the majority...glad i maked it though as met many people i wanted to, and had good fun at the end of the night and thats what counts. cans for 4 pounds was absolutely ridiculous and the most i ever given for a can of beer! thats all; to the next one, hopefully with a more diverse line-up!

yeah wtf was that about £4 for a stella? i swear it wasn't that expensive in september?

i managed to get in and see Harry Craze and Dave Q which i am really happy about...really enjoyed that part of the night...

Digital Mystikz & Loefah were good as usual...

there were too many pricks in there during Skream's set...i went out for a spliff break about 20 mins into his set...no disrespect to Skream...

Kutz was ok...

Chef smashed it as always...

overall though there were too many kids in their who had blatently only been listening to dubstep for the last couple months and were on a hype...bumping into people, taking their shirts off, eating their own faces and complaining if a DJ wasn't playing a standard, smash your own face in wobble tune...

not as good as previous DMZ nights...IMO...

but i still had a good night overall...i was lean up and got pretty pissed aswell...loads of brandy, rum and beer...

drinks were fuckin pricey. double vodka redbull i know is expensive but i think it was £9 or something ridiculous like that. it was double vodka and xl or something aswell (exactly the same but the redbull usualy is whats pricey).

Yes Luke definitely! But I think Skream has made that track more in honour of the Ray Keith remix, which was and still is, massive (if you ain't heard before, check the breakdown from 4 mins in, huge!):
