Rap cats having been hearing dubstep beats for years. Some have expressed an interest on rapping on em. Also dj's & producers have been creating mash ups of dubstep and rap for years as well.

all i have to say is there really is nothing new under the sun .. just make sure that if you are a producer for a major label artist that you get paid well and credited properly.

hold tight the department store massive. Not long before we hear dubstep in department stores.

I actually think its quite good - Snoop could make any tune sound good  .

Honestly couldn't give two shits if dubstep blows up on a much larger scale - I'll still do my thing and so will everyone else...

A lot of UK hiphop heads are getting on this tip as well, I know for sure that "eurgh" is working on a dubstep project and a load of rappers I know are now getting dubstep beats off people instead of hiphop, its just how it progresses.. It happened to DnB too, theres that "when DnB met Hiphop" album from a while back which wasn't to bad at all..Its all Marmite at the end of the day - if you don't like it don't listen to it, I don't listen to the sort of music I am not to fond on but I still give it the respect when its needed.

Just heard it - Does sound like a mixtape sort of deal to me... nice though, but I wonder if Eastern Jam is already too well known for this to be properly big? Maybe only in Dubstepper's consciousness?

Look forward to hearing hip hoppers (including Snoop) do a bit more with the style...

I love hip hop and I love dubstep
this is the worst of both worlds.
when the two collide it should be fresh as but this is just moldy and smelly but not ina good way.

WORD. could be done right with a good combination, a talented MC and a good dubstep tune..

wheres the Wu-Tang collabs at haha!! or UK collabs..

I'm interested to see who's been writing to joker and crissy criss...

i think this could be huge, especially since he's pushing this single & it's not just a track on an album.

Hmm, snoop doesnt really suit the tune, infact nothing really suits this tune, it's too busy for slow vocals aswell.

i doubt it'll even be that popular with fans of snoop, it's not funky or poppy enoug

no.
this is true.

There are a lot of valid points here, whether they're about the scene being 'ruined', or where they're about how it won't harm the scene.
