I can see them going down now. Terrible decision.
H was just starting to get things to click in the PL, and this geezer was sacked from Espanyol for having a shocking start to the season. Really feel for Adkins, but I think Cortese is a bit of a numpty tbh.

Stupid fucking move, two promotions, we're not in relegation and we came from 2-0 away at Chelsea midweek.
Ridiculous.

It'll be like it was with Pardew, Cortese has some crazy idea that comes to him in a flash of brilliant light that he keeps to himself and just decides to sack

Only thing it could be over is transfer policy...not like it's been results...if he was going over that it'd would've been after the WBA match.

I'd be inclined to agree with you TBH
Pochettino doesn't even fucking speak English, his press conference is being done through an interpretor, apparently.
So, let's recap;
- No Prem experience
- History of bad management
- No success as a coach (EDIT - scratch that, he's won 2 x Copa Del Reys)
- Doesn't speak English
Oh, and three out of our next four games are Everton, United and City.
WHAT THE FUCK.

Copa Del Reys were as a player.
He also gave away the penalty at the 2002 World Cup when we beat them 1-0 and Becks drilled it down the middle.

as much of a silly sacking it is, I couldn't see Adkins taking Southampton to that 'next' stage in the league. owners must have felt the same too.

TBF I don't think we were expecting him to take us to Europa during our first season back in the Premiership, nobody was asking that. But a decent top 12/14 finish wouldn't have been unthinkable.

I think they agreed a deal ages ago and then you started getting good results and it was too late.
