I'm not new to recording; I've actually produced my own rock album (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/thesmellingfresh2 if you care to listen), but I'm relatively new producing more electronic stuff like house and dubstep. I recorded and produced a song with some of my fraternity brothers inappropriately titled "We Get More Pussy Than You" a few weeks ago which was my first true attempt at house/electronic music. It actually has nearly 2,500 views on YouTube now, which I'm proud of: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCIU7Q0KI7I if you wish to listen to it...but I digress. I'd really like to know what I should look into as far as tips with writing/producing more technical dubstep/house songs...such as arrangement tips or simple synth tricks? I'm using Logic Pro 9 and I have NI Massive as well. I'd appreciate any advice I can get!

Hello there, My name is Michael and I make dubstep. I'm 14 years old and live in Vermont. Yes, Vermont is a state. I promise. For those of you who don't know what Vermont is, google it. Also, it was the 14th state to join the US. True Story. But enough about Vermont. I was introduced to dubstep about a year ago and i have loved it ever since. I started making dubstep about 6 months ago and I enjoy it. So yeah, thats about it(:

Am 17, started focusing on music more than I used to. Since a few months I've been listening to lots of tunes (at home and in clubs) and I wanted to make something out of all this inspiration. http://soundcloud.com/kai-st

Hello.
I'm from germany and I produce dubstep, among other things.
Although I quite enjoy the likes of excision and 16bit, I prefer writing low-key music which helps me deal with negative feelings and lows.

Wow, this sight is kind of intimidating. There are so many people here that know so much more about dubstep than me. I cant wait to make an impact on dubstep forums though!
Im a DJ in Austin, TX and have loved dubstep ever since I heard Skream's Midnight Request Line.
Hit me up if you live in Texas, seriously thatd be SICK.
