hi am trying to make long deep growl sounds similar to dungeon sound and long growl's

any tips?

more like drum&bass tho

Messing around in Ableton. How's this for a growl?

Hey guyss! I was recently messing around with an old patch I had made and touched up on it giving it a new spin & this is what it turned into Soundcloud
(It's the first song that plays, it's the short growl that you hear hit at 0:02 - 0:03 & 0:04 - 0:06 ish and so on) I used it as a short growl in that song just because I wanted too, you CAN turn it into a long semi truck of a growl if you wanted but, well, it's a preview anywho of something I just recently started. It may be a little basic to some of you, but I think it has its own special feel, in my opinion anyways
Well, , If any of you like it, let me know and i'll definitely post some pictures of the patch / explain what I did (For the most part) i'm not just going to hand out a patch download :c But I will go into as much detail in the patch as possible

So I took some time away from this thread and found out some serious shit with growls! It may not be liked by some people and Im willing to let that go(I normally blast on people-apology in advanced) but this is my latest work and I really am diggin the growls in this!

If you want the patch Im willing to give it out!

I would honestly love to see how you went about doing this / have the patch.It sounds great man!But, I wouldn't just want "Hey throw the patch kthx frand, now i'll go sound like you!" I'd rather you do at least a little walk through too about how you went about that sound.(As i know you have done before which I will again say THANK YOU for contributing to helping us out!)

Now I know that A LOT of Noobs will automate the Mod Wheel in this thinking they are bad ass.. lol


I also Never used Ohmicide or distortion in this growl, but if you choose to be my guest.

I also suggest using a form of vowel like this one ↓


I automated the 3rd tab according to my growls Pitch & Mod Wheel Movement
(**IMPORTANT**)
MOVE THEM TOGETHER

If you don't you will end up with a farting sound lol

Thanjs! What do you mean by 'move them together', should they simply be moving at the same time or doing something specific?

So after coming back and reading what you had posted I gave it a shot and i'm pretty happy with the outcome, i definitely learned a lot more about these kinds of growls and different pingdongpoos about them. I did change the fx chain you had going though because I couldn't get it sounding right or even close. But here it is :

Don't mind the random patterns I just kind of put it together to show the growl and where it stands. Just threw a little thing to flow with it at least. But yep !

Massive (Dirty throat wavetable, wt position modulated) -> Vocoder -> Distortion -> Static EQ (just to fix the timbre) -> Resample in harmor.

That's how I remember it... I can't find the project file.

So, I made this growl in albeton live (9 suite) and it was basically a recreation of the growl in Zomboy - Raptor, that got out of hands. Anyone interested on how i made it?
