Portugal fucked me out of £35 from £2 yesterday. Losing to Ecuador. Was tempted to back Ecuador or Draw cause Portugal are such a shit national side.

A bit off topic but I was wondering are you allowed to smoke on stadiums in the UK?
And can you buy beer with alcohol in it?

I remember reading somewhere that alcohol during the matches was banned due to hooliganism at some point.

Pretty sure that Europa League/Champions League matches have a ban on alcohol in the ground though, when I went to some of the Birmingham matches in the Europa League last year, you couldn't buy beer.

Well at the grounds in Scotland I've been in you can't take alcohol in the ground and there's no bar you can purchase alcohol and go back to your seat and drink it. Only within hospitality you're allowed alcohol, but not allowed in the stands with it

Spot on. You're not allowed to smoke.
(Google Bradford FC fire if you want to know why.)

League and cup games are licensed for alcohol - UEFA
games are not.
