Yeah it's just the style of mountains. I like skiing too, but it's just not the same in the backcountry

yeah, having been on ski teams on the east and west coast, the west has by FAR nicer conditions. but actually the majority of good usa skiiers come from the east coast because they have to deal with shittier conditions
