@TRIPWIRE wonderfull track loving the harmonies, cant hear too much sub(whether or not this was the aim). Either way great track i would be happy to make one as good as that.

@HOLDA great vocals, sweet wobbles great syncopation, nice ambience at breakdowns. Good overall

@GALBM/CYREX not usually my preferd listening but you have the wobbles/automation on lockdown. Liked the intro too and the theme you came back to at the end. Well done :)

Heres mine, wouldnt mind a bit of feedback :)

@fassyman: Thanks for listening to my track. Good to know you have nothing bad to say :W:

Ok, your track: Really really nice feel all round on this one. That clap (or is it?) is sexual. Loving the groove a lot. The bass that enters at 2:23 is awesome. Percussion is tight and not over done. A new element would be nice to hear later in the 2:45 section, but only like an occasional "huh" or "ah" just to step things up very slightly. I like your style.

@jakerobert: Cheers for the feedback. Not sure how I can change it up any more to be honest haha, but I'll see what I can do. The quote is from an old film called Network, by the way :wink:

Now onto your track - first of, this isn't really my taste for bedroom listening. In a small club I can imagine having fun to this - as with all 8bit/glitchy tracks 8) The chords that come in at 2:40 mark sound really nice, but the main hook which comes back at 3:40, gets quite painful after a while - you really need to turn it into a longer phrase. Or have another synth to create a call and response effect. The beat could also do with coming more the the forefront. I do like what you are going for tho, just needs more progression and groove.

@Galbm: Yes mate! This track is hotter than the sun! You got some classic sounds going on, but also some nice original ones inbetween. Very nicely done. Not sure what I can criticize, but I'll have a go: some more splashy cymbals would be wicked onto of the longer wobs to give more energy, the snare could do with more reverb on a few moments (maybe reverb with a phaser on it?), some more samples in the background would make this track sound more complete too. Sounding wicked nevertheless mate.

@Claridge: This is a really uplifting track, with some lovely harmony going on. I especially love the melodic bit in the 2nd drop. The vocal samples are great. I really like this kind of stuff. Snare could have more beef to it tho. I can't really hear the sub either.

Here's a new track I've been working on for the past 2 days. First track that I've properly used the 909/808 hits too! Would love to have some feedback. DO you think I should keep the flute sample in or not? I think it works, but I'm not sure. :?

@bugsky - yeah i knew that repetition would be a problem... I'll fix it up though and hopefully the sucker will be close to done.

anyway Your new track has some quite nice vibes, its overall a bit slow for my taste but everything fits together very well. I especially dig the plucked instrument. I would definitely leave the flute samples in, I think they add a lot to the track. good work mate!

I feel like giving some more fb so here we go! :)

@claridge - like the track overall but I think that the intro is a bit slow. also, the echoey lead is rather loud and overpowering, maybe tone it down or adjust the patch so it fits better. I like the percussion that takes over at 2:22. I also think that toward the end the track could use maybe another harmonic or melodic part to keep interest. solid otherwise though

@rhek- I really liked the lead sound but I found that this track was too repetitive for me to stay interested. switch it up a bit and you'll have a nice track

@tripwire22- this was an enjoyable and relaxing listen, i thought the intro was really cool, but after a bit, say, around 2:10, I'm craving some kind of change.

@X hertZ- very well-produced, the vocals are gorgeous. really fun and trancey vibes. not big on wobble but you managed to keep it interesting for me.

@ colourless

nice sounds and vibes in the first track, not much to say man, it's pretty clean production wise and musically it's sound. Nice work.

@project_B

Loving that second tune, really nice work here, nice and minimal and it doesn't get boring, everything is introduced well. Nice build up with new layers of sound being added. Very well arranged imo.

@fassyman

ritual-dub sounds good man, only thing I would say is that the pan pipe sounding sample (if it is a sample) can sound a little piercing sometimes, but other than that this is a cool tune, good vibes really nice groove.

@ joemalkin

nice tune, good production, not much to say on this one, personally I'd maybe make those wobbles a little crisper at times, but other than that it's really solid, and I think the crispier wobblez is more just personal taste than anything else. :) Nice 4 to the floor feel too. Middle section sounds great too - props.

@ holda, quality sounds and production on this, great groove, really liking this one, can't say a bad thing about it.

@ rhek, this tune reminds me of playing deus ex on the pc lol, really nice sounds, nostalgic. Cool retro feel at times but still a lot of modern sounds working their way in, really like this one, again, nothing bad to say about it. It can feel a bit repetitive at times, but personally, I think you get away with it because I like the sounds and the feel of the tune.

@ claridge

the beat is solid, but the synths under it sound a little chaotic to me, there are some good melodies and vocal lines and I think I hear some of those vox either going through a vocoder or being bit crushed, I can't tell which, but theres something grainy sitting under them that sounds very nice. Love the drop into things at 2.36ish. Works well. Very nicely arranged. :)

@ bugsky

Lovely tune, great chord choices and melodies, lovely sounds, great arrangement, fantastic sample choices, overall just a great listen. Not a single bad thing to say on this one :)

Soundcloud < This is a little different from my usual stuff, was working in renoise and for some reason anytime I work in renoise I tend to make more synthetic tunes, I break away from using real instruments in renoise for some reason. I dunno how people will take this one. Hopefully people will like it and not think it's shit.

@ Bledbox

Sounds like a quality tune man, nice work on that bass, nice little atmospheric blips, good work on the drum patterns too. Nice change up in the bass at 1.30ish

All right folks, round 2 for this month. I'm working on finding better ways to say things.

@bugsky- definitely leave the flute, I would actually try to incorporate it in other parts of the track. Your track is nice and simple, but probably too simple. Spread that flute around to try and draw attention away from the bassline.

@Claridge- get a new high hat, when you replace that put it at an appropriate level. During your heavy parts that's all I can focus on. Some variation in your composition would also benefit you greatly.

@kaiori- Like your rythm section. Too mellow for someone like me though.

@Bledbox- Intro is too long, and the song is very repetive. The drop is kind of weak as well. On the plus side though, excellent sound overall. I would just shoot for being less predictable.

So here's my new track. The vocal sample is from Eartha Kitt, and it's dense as usual.

Thanks for your comments guys, just all remember, people have different tastes, someone might tell you to change certain things about your tracks, but if its the thing your going for, then put them straight, dont think that there opinion is instantly the right one.

@Noizy Parka(missed this one last time)

Really Really liked this , very well written percussion is very nice, each indivdual sound/drumhit and melodic lines
are nicely inspiring. now... i thing that piano VSTi doesnt live up to the quality of your composition and
i also feel the instrumentation could have been spread in the panoramic field a lil more (well ... apart from that,
its a really well written enjoyable track with an uplifting vibe

@Colourless

Everything gels nicely here your sense of space is well tuned on this track and thus you have created a good soundscape.
I think you could add a lil more interest by adding more melodic lines and some switch ups.

@GreyScale(jetsam-alure)

Nice mix here. (a lil too loud in the hi end specially when the panning lazer FX comes in), good rhythm section,
nice and interesting; builds and drops at the right time. not totaly my style, but engaging and well crafted
production man

HEY HEY HERES ANOTHERONE WITH K-SO.....

Listening to someone Else's advice is always at your discretion. But you can't knock the people who don't have the same musical interests, they should really be your best friends. How is your music ever going to evolve if you only accept advice from people who only make one style, your style, of music?

@ Matthew-B : It sounds great, apart from all that percussion! The level needs reducing on them I think, because at the moment, they are making the track sound messy! Keep it up though, I like this track!

@ Siderealdb : It's not my style, but I am definitely liking this one. I love the choirs! It's quite epic!

This is another new track complete by me called 'Engage The Noise'

Hope you guys like!

thought id come on here and give people feedback out of boredom :mrgreen:
Hywlen - Time
really really REALLY like this tune man. the different synths go together so well, and that vocal sounds tasty. big up for this, smooth as fuck.

Bugsky - My Destiny
i really like this aswell, laid back goodness. again the vocal sample is big and that herp that comes in at 0.58. only thing i would say is that synth that comes in at 0.14 seems to have little too much in it, like its ringing in my ears, probably just me though. otherwise noyce track :)

Kaiori Breathe - It Only Rains When You're Away From Me
again another smooth vibes tune, loving all these as oppose to all the dancefloor tearouts i normally see on here. the pads, the background percussion just everything about this track is great. if you really squeezed me i would of said there could of been more variation overall, just my cuntish opinion though, big tune.

thats all folks, im out of here :t:

@Sidereal I Wanna Be Evil, pretty dope tune, got me wet.

@X Hertz I feel your bass could be brought up a little more in the mix, but other than that, good sounds.

@Fak Ohm Feelin that Bass. He got a sister?

Here's a little remix I put together recently:

Feedback would be great.

Soundcloud I haven't a fricking clue what this is. First attempt at making something wobbly, I think I have the sounds down, I just can't seem to write anything decent if I'm using wobbles for some reason. I don't know why, I just don't get it I guess.

@djcjay second tune sounds pretty nice, couldn't get the first one to load, my internet is shit, but the second one sounds nice, especcially at 1.53is when you drop that big chord pad in. Cool stuff.

@zonetrooper, nice tune, good synths and nice work on the bass, can't really say much against this tune, snare sounds a little weak, but that might just be my headphones, sounds good :)

@Saef, nice work on that remix :)

@ calrdig
Good track, all i seen was already said... boost the sub, and give ur snare abit more pop... other than that it was a good track.

@bugsky
That was an awsome ambient track there man... nothin really bad to say, great samples...

@ Bledbox
Lovin the track, just seems abit empty though... that's just me...

@Hertz
Pretty dope sample useage ;)
only thing i would change is at 25-27, the pitch change was awsome, but then when it came right back it, it seem'd like it didn't fit. That's all i could really tell though... awsome track man! (total nero feel)

I'd really like some feedback on my track that i finished today aswell if it's possible! :e: Thx!
