I would definitely keep the unlimited plan, it's only $5 more than the 2GB, and if you go to the other plans you'll never be able to get it back. I have upwards of 15GB per month so I'd be fucked without it

Yeah same here. Honestly I wish I could just get the internet plan. Would save a shit ton of cash. I can't believe you use that much bandwidth. Are you streaming 24/7 or something? I guess with the jailbreak things would be different. I saw they had a slsk app

Yeah I doubt it's that much now since I'm not jailbroken (that is, until comex releases it). I just use the internet a ton while I'm out... download music, videos/movies, apps, and more. There's this utility you can install called "Safari Download Manager" that let's you actually save shit instead of just streaming which is great

Re our actual full time daws, It sucks in fl's audio editor that you can't draw in samples. I LOVE record crackle in samples, but I've got this one pop that is like off the charts, it would be so easy to just whip out a pencil and draw in the correct waveform.

Try EQing it with a linear phase notch eq.

Cubase - Ahhhh Cubase. The love of my life....... Cubase is like one of those fine German girls with blond hair and blues eyes that you just HAVE to have. Yeah, it can be hard work and complex but fuck me, its worth it!

Logic with Ableton rewired for drums...

People always bang on about battery... The ableton drum rack is one of the best things ever invented... and ultrabeat is shit. Ableton is quicker than any DAW to work on... workflow is ridiculously good. But logic is just the shit.

i use combo of renoise and cubase
having best of both worlds is my cup of tea
should give ableton a second look

Ableton = Smartcar - attracts mainly tossers who care more about haircuts and moBIL devices.

Logic = Prius - for people who think they are different but have payed over the odds for cheap parts that crash like any other.

Cubase = Porsche - yeah it's pricier than the competition but it's german development the way it should be and continues to pioneer concepts and technologies years ahead of the rest.

ProTools = Hummer - heavy ugly piece of expensive elitist gash.

Reaper = A Bus - yeah it's cool using it for a while and it's cheap as fuck but some people get embarrassed using it.

Reason = Go-Kart - Nippy and fun when you're young but can't compete, lack power and has an awful engine sound.
