it was my first dmz but it will definitely not be my last one - this was the best dubstep night i've ever been to [55555555555³³³³³³].

been there with 4 friends from germany and we went mad 100%. almost knocked down the metal protective barriers in the front when hijak was playing - luckily that bouncer guy kinda liked us and didn't throw us out :D

I lone wolfed it that night as all my mates bailed but I had such a decent time!
Arrived about 1 so got in for Loefah's set which I personally thought was the best set all night! Absolutely top notch tunes! Really decent to hear a lot of ramadanman's tunes getting dropped and woo glut at the end was a massive highlight. Then coki was OK I thought, though Hijak seemed intent on rewinding his tracks several times which really pissed me off no end. Then Hijak came on and played the worst music I have ever heard at DMZ so I went outside. Then I came back up for Tunnidge and walking upstairs I was thinking 'fuck that is heavy!' and his set was well decent imo. Mala was really good aswell I thought, Education was another huge highlight of the night for me, can't wait to see it on vinyl! Really gutted I missed Quest but if I had been there from 10 then I would have been a broken man by the end, I was so so tired. Gona have to miss the next due to a 21st so can't wait for the 6th birthday! :D

By the way don't eat at MacDonalds!

There is a really tasty West Indian take away on Cold Harbour Lane that is open till around 6.30/7am.

Loads of tasty food and a perfect end to any night (plus it will reduce your hangover unlike the crap air filled food at MacDonalds)

No way Kay.

We must not break the Mcds tradition, we need to see our bitty fiend friends, it would not be dmz without them!

I do absolutely hate that Mcds though. They must change shift at that time on purpose.

i know its not what you expect at a dmz, but fuck it they are just as welcome as anyone else. as long as dmz stays about the sound and the system first and foremost, and people are having a good time then fuck it. i dont see any reason why young people aint allowed to get it on there, cos you see it everywhere else so why not there.

LOL i can just imagine some people though in proper disgust.....quite a fair number of nice young girls about + loefah throwing down some party tunes....completely not the vibes they expect and not in their comfort zone.

i dont see the big deal really. its not gonna suddenly replace what their used to, i just see it as an extension. why cant we have deep medi, bit of brostep and some party vibes all under the same roof? as long as the actual music stays true to the originality and ideas that dmz push and its all played on a weighty sound system, its all good.

It just annoys me when they don't actually listen to the music, ignore everyone else around them shouting away over the music and either stand completely still or go completely OTT and show offy and shove everyone aside coz NO ONE'S MORE IMPORTANT THAN THEIR LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER OR THEIR FUCKING HORMONES.
