Fuck those daewon videos on the last page are sick.
Been watching loads of old skate vids recently. Really wish I hadn't stopped skating. Could start again now as 24 isn't exactly exceptionally old but it's been so long I probably can't even fucking ollie anymore and would just crash into everything and fall over constantly. Not that appealing now I'm somewhere between 6ft 1 and 6ft 2 and weigh 12.5 stone or maybe a bit more now and fall down like a sack of shit when I trip over.
Do still have a board somewhere though. Old as fuck Alien Workshop deck, tensor mids, spitfire wheels and speed metal mike vallely signature abec 7 bearings. From memory the tail of the board is all worn to fuck for some unknown reason and the bearings felt like they were full of sand last time I looked at them after spending a few years in the garage. In fact the problem with the vallely bearings is despite running for ages and being really fucking fast they do let ALL the dirt in.
Not sure how I'd even start again as I'm living out in a tiny village too. Might go investigate the local skatepark a couple miles walk away at night when it's empty

Haha. See I'm already sure I'm not going to be able to even remotely skate now so fuck knows how awful I'll be now then
There's a nice little concrete park about 2 minutes walk from my flat now, but I'm too scared to go and try it... last time I decided to give skating one more shot, I ended up fucking my knee and bailing is EMBARRASSING at my age, which is shit, because it's what I've always spent most of my skating time doing.

It's quite amazing how that Njah manages to release such incredible yet boring parts, quite a feat. Handrail, 14 stair, gap, handrail, BS noseblunt, 360 lipslide rinse repeat.
One of my favs at the moment, Gilbert Crockett, got such a ridiculous floaty, expressive lanky style. All his footage is super chilling too, check his Cellout parts, just guys having fun.
Even though new balance along with converse are slowly sucking the life from the scene, this video is sick.

That's a wicked vid, saw it a few weeks ago but have to say, what the fuck is New Balance? Skate almost every day and never even heard of it.

a bullshit shoe company that make shoes for hipsters/chinese people who are trying to cash in on skateboarding but giving very little in return
on the subject of skateboarding i had a skate the other day for the first time in ages and the only thing i can consistently land now is hardflips for some reason, my kickflips are like 1 in 5 but hardflips everytime might just not bother relearning other tricks and hardflip everywhere

I have no idea about skating anymore but I love the flatland/street videos with funk/soul/hip-hop tracks.
