On a similarly related note to before one of my dreams last night was about dynamic reduction (with a track going up to -3 db rms ) this confirms it I need to give the studio a rest for a bit

Totally been there. When you're single minded 12 hours a day nearly everyday, your mind kind of gets locked in that box, nary to escape.
