this.
"brostep" not as much though as everything classed under that term was easy to guess once hearing and was tolerable to an extent back in 08/09.
"dungeon" though, and that "krytpic minds-esque" term. fuckin ell, that thread created on here pretty much killed that sound and me being able to take youngsta's show serious tbh. majority of that stuff classed under that term could easily just be called "dubstep", but now anything dark and half-step sounding is called that hideous name. even worse, a lot of producers are just trying to imitate that dull sound which no-one can even move or vibe to in a dance.

I think that's why I like it tbh
It did got really dull, but mostly because of small producers trying to sound like KM/SP:MC/LX One/Matt-U/District etc. fkof or whatever promote via free tunes

tbh "dungeon" is a silly name but when there's enough tunes been made in that style, and you're aiming to refer to it in conversation, you're gonna need a word. When theres that much music that's so similar, it's handy to be able to call it something.
not as though people are walking around saying oh, I make dungeon-step.
it's just a term that does its job, as you know exactly what someone's talking about when they say it.

My 4 year old cousin wanted a magazine on engine thermodynamics, I slapped him and gave him the GuitarPlayer Jimi Hendrix special. That son of a bitch, how dare he shame our family like that.
