But for 3/4 differing results, might've been Norwich or Villa we're talking about...
There was a game in the FA cup that season where Ferguson was supposedly going to be sacked if they didn't win. Chelsea could learn something from that..

Hmm, being the first winner isn't too important in the grand scheme of things, though it definitely seems like the premiership helps keep the big teams in place- if it had started in 86 then I could see Liverpool still dominating now- but if it had started in 91-92 i couldn't see leeds winning year after year.

Yeah, dun get me wrong bro, don't think it's EVERYTHING, but with the big push sky started, makes me think that they would've pushed the first winner a lot. Villa finished 2nd, would be easy to think had they won they would push them, big city club, historically successful, could've been a perfect push to draw in the casual viewer. Undoubtedly shit like an amazing group of kids coming through the academy and sticking with Ferguson after a few fruitless years helped too.

Well from what ive read the prem was set up by a cabal of man u, liverpool, everton, spurs + arsenal in order for them to make use of their greater resources and create a stranglehold- the same way these fair play rules are trying to reassert the old order and stick upstarts like chelsea and man city back in their place.

When Downing was your best player, you know something is wrong.

Liverpool had 23 attempts, West Brom had 4.
If Suarez doesn't score they always seem to do this

Leicester fucked me out of £87. I'm done with betting. Football is such a con.

Just needed Leeds to score tonight and they couldn't even do that against a 10 man Boro. Stopping this betting malarky tbh. Pennies shall be saved.

Yeah, true, just sucks to have the majority of chances and not even score one, Ambrose should've buried that header. Not sure what we got bookings for when it was us being pushed, Leichsteiner was seriously fucking chancing it! Ah well, all excuses, Italian champions and they're better than us

I am so fed up of warnock and leeds atm. If we were building a team from youngsters or even trying to play a bit then it'd be alright but all we've done is sign a load of 30 year olds whose main attribute is kicking people. It's about 30 quid a pop to go watch them too- while all the money disappears and all our best players get sold to Norwich. No wonder i've been going to watch hull much more this season /rant.

Hate being one goal away. I'm sick of betting, in a hungover state I bet £30 on a treble with city in when they lost 3-1.. I also stuck £20 on them to come back and win at 1-0 down. Instantly stuck daily limits on my accounts.
Put £10 on Zenit to win when it was still 0-0 but late in the game, was 3/1. Had to deposit so it was loading and then they scored so my bet was cancelled. Nightmare.
Also bet over 2.5 in the Chelsea game, 0-0 80 minutes gone. I'm done supporting Chelsea. I'll wait until we're poor and shit again, at least we had a bit of character back in the day.. this team just disappoint week in week out.
