Surely you should have a rough idea....?Terpit wrote:Going to the post office after work to collect some records, not sure what they are tho. Suspense is killing me.
Been so long since I bought vinyl. Gone the way of the MP3.... not sure how I feel about itTerpit wrote:Yeah, im sure one of them is gonna be Box of Dub 2 and i can see what my discogs order history is but i have no idea what the others will be as they were all posted at around the same time.
Technics are the shit. I'm currently resisting the urge to trade them in for some CDJ1000's but I know for a fact I'll regret it in no time so I'm deffo gonna keep hold of them.Terpit wrote:I only recently got into vinyl, i do like cdjs but i find the flimsy pitch a bit annoying, technics have that nice resistance.
Dont wanna get Serato or something? And nice!!Ferryman wrote:Technics are the shit. Just need to save and get some CDJ's - I just wanna be able to bounce my tunes down and play them out, and it's becoming more important now I'm getting tunes digitally released soon... :swagger:
Thought about it, but I don't see the point. I'd have to buy a macbook and serato, which is like £1500. Where as I can buy 2 used CDJ's for half that leaving me loads of money to buy tunes. Also means I don't have to lug £1500 worth of gear to a gig which I'd be very dubious about when I'm getting paid £50-£100... if I was bagging £1000 a show it'd be different. A few replaceable CD-R's and I'm set.Terpit wrote:Dont wanna get Serato or something? And nice!!Ferryman wrote:Technics are the shit. I changed it for a banana, mars bar duo and a scratchcard of the same variety, which won nothing. Having spent £2 initially, I've consumed a tasty treat and had one of my five a day. However I've spent £1 more than was necessary to do so. That's how they get you.Electric_Head wrote:Don't spend it all in one place.
