Gareth, the guy pushed his face with the power of a punch. I don't know how long he was on the ground for, probably longer than nessessary but you can't blame him for going to ground after that. Mind, slow motion always makes shit look more tame than it actually is.

No, I don't think he would, that's why it's so embarassing.

Honestly, I can think of one time where a footballer just stood there, and that was Roger Johnson when Blues played Bolton. He fouled Jaaskelainen, who stood up, slapped Johnson full force, got sent off, but Johnson just stood there. Can't act the tough, huge athlete one minute, then roll around the floor next.

The guy pushed him in the face, quite hard, but still, you do NOT need to drop like that. The guy is gonna be in the shit anyway, but all that does is give the mongols some sort of "success", look how much they hurt him, har har. If he'd just stood there, and then walked off (obviously don't kick off with thousands of other mongs behind you), then they would've felt fucking stupid.

Really struggle to watch football now when you see these people acting the hard man one minute, then they trip up the next and are on the floor for the next 5. Not sure why there's always so many people constantly defending everything footballers do, especially with the amount they get paid to play what is, after all, a contact sport.
