TBF I do this...when you're dealing with people in different countries with different accents/levels of English, it's the easiest way to spell out words. Try spelling out MATTHEW to someone in India whose on a crap quality landline connection, takes fucking ages.

This. Especially when you've got a call with people in different countries, many of whom English is not a first language. Reckon the phonetic language might even be taught at one of our outsourced call centres?

our airport and flight school/training area is located in keflavik, an old military base and SHITTY ASS TOWN. it'd be such a downgrade moving out there. not to mention i have to cough up 20k which is bullshit. in england, they pay you to train! ah well

Got arrested last night for refusing to give my name to a policeman, spent the night in the cells and now have a crick in my neck.
