Honestly I wouldn't hit a cop unless I was in danger or I could get away with it. I'm not afraid to call bullshit on them though, I read up on law and my rights, most cops hate when you call them out but if you're innocent fuck it.

If it were a situation like the one ReDead mentioned, no doubt. Noone should take shit from some asshole on a power trip. Just because he/she's a cop doesn't mean he/she can do everything he/she pleases.

I thought, in Europe, well the UK, if the police stop you they can't really do anything unless they've seen you breaking the law but they try and 'trick' you into agreeing to go with them or show ID or confess to something. Is that right?
Same as if you get pulled over and they ask you have fast you were going in case you admit to speeding in the spot or say 'dunno'.

Well, I said "I dunno", but they still did something, because they had a speed gun telling them how fast I was going.

Do you get police waiting under bridges and shit with their camera ready over there?
E- nvm they have those special white trucks right? I saw a show in them and they seemed pretty safe, always setting their camera higher than they should be, still catch people mind

Why not? Some clubs here that are quite far away offer shuttle buses and the taxis a reasonably priced.
I just think that the effects of alcohol are the opposite of what you want when driving, I wouldn't do ket and drive

public transport/taxis/etc are expensive as hell here...
and its kind of a part of the culture, the whole "she'll be right mate, its only round the corner!" attitude.

Yeah I guess, and people are stubborn but it just seems very beneficial to me, one of the only laws they have here that I really understand and respect.
You'll get put away for a month if your caught, stops most people

yes but too much of society is built around drinking for a law like this to work. do you really expect some one who went out on a date and shared a bottle of wine to then think better call a cab..fuck no

Yeah I see your point, although shit can get pretty busy in the bcks of taxis. Ad they have services here where someone will drive you home in your own car andhs little mate on a motorcycle will follow and drive your driver back.
Plus, taxis are reasonable here and there a very few alcohol related crashes

finding a lot of the new releases really bland at the moment (not just dubstep). I like a lot of it but nothing is getting me excited.
Maybe it's just my taste changing.

Of course alcohol limits are necessary for driving. I refuse to drive with someone that had more than three beers.
What do you mean with; "will never work here"? You just implement the law, you fine drunk drivers and eventually they'll learn their lesson.
Fuck this kind of people. Fuck them.
