One of my team has called in sick so the chilled Monday I had planned for myself has been put on hold

woke up with 'lowpassed' hearing in one ear this morning, feels almost like there was an earplug or something in my ear except that there's nothing... any ninja experienced something like that?

p.s. not tetanus, i'm fairly sure

I think ive had that before, have you tried equalising your ears or doing that jiggly jaw thing?

Ear wax maybe?
I had an ear infection a couple years back that bunged my hearing up.
I used one of those ear candles which dripped molten wax into my ear.
Had to go to the doc to have my ear cleaned with a hot water syringing tool that sounds like a drill.
It worked like a charm.
Still had to take anti biotics n what not for the infection but I could hear properly.

I have a permanent sinus problem with my ears.
They get blocked everyday and only pinching my nose and blowing out unblocks them.
Gets annoying.

Theyre meant to make a vacuum from burning oxygen that pulls the earwax out of your ear, the wax is meant to 'vap off'

warm it up, put a few drops in one ear, tilt, let it warm the earwax, tip head to side and the wax should drip out.

To be fair I've used those candles many times but this time it didn't work.

Sounds painful.

Never heard of sesame oil either.

bus burned in front of my house 4:30 in the morning, they put everyone out but the driver. they tossed gasoline on the driver's face and in the bus and set it on fire. Driver managed to leave the bus with some burnings in his face most because of the gasoline. Yeah, I think I may be taking a day off

not about killing the people, they always put everyone out. killing everyone would be the perfect excuse to justify a massacre by the police. it's about sending the message, that they can control a public service.

it's not always like that around here and bear in mind that I live almost outside São Paulo, the farther you go from the center, the worst it gets. rich people can pay for security, they have their nice neighbourhoods with expensive shops and restaurants so they can spend the whole day discussing north american politics, european economics and fashion.
