Bass music back then was primitive as hell, but people who passed this up to buy crowd bangers learned what the REAL crowd banger was when I tossed this on at 3AM in some dark dirty warehouse in '92. 136 BPM and pounding sounds more energetic in a car stereo or at home, but 124 BPM with some thick ass bass coming out of 80k watts rattled pants legs. I remember DJs running up to the balcony to find out what this was, only to see it was the same wax they put back after listening to in the store, heh.

I've Heard LFO before and didn't get that impressed, but this was something else. Proper techno with proper sub bass!
Extremely good.

I found him the other day on some record site and ordered one of his releases on Naked Index. It's absolutely mental.

sorry for posting this in here but some of yous lot in this thread might know the answer better than other threads i've tried..

If anyone knows any of the track i.d's in this brief rip from the Icicle/Hessle Audio Rinse show from earlier in the year then puurrrlleease spill. I've a feeling the first is an unreleased Icicle techno track, followed by 2 similarly banging tracks.. If you didn't hear the show I massively recommend it, 'specially for Icicles mix..so killer. Here it be anyways: Soundcloud.
