Happens all the time to me on PS3. Really annoying as FNV is a great game but more often than not it just leaves me feeling frustrated. Only happens on FNV, no other games.

Happened to me alot, but it also crashes fairly often with BF3. Why must the best games break so much :(

If you direct it to the power grids, you get karma depending on where.

However, you direct it to the other satellite, you can get the orbital strike weapon. You just need to find whose got the targeting module...they're running around with it and don't even realise it...;-)

Yeah this happens all time for me. Do either of you have a newer slim PS3? Mine is an older fat model, wondering if the older PS3's are more prone to freezing.

FO:NV also brought on the yellow light of death for me due to over heating.

It's seems like all games on a PS3 have the potential to freeze. Mainly due to overheating IMO.

Teeheehee, i armed Archimedes without killing everyone and got euclid's c-finder ;-)

Still on the lookout for that custom varmint, although i have all the mods for it anyway now. Resisting the urge to look at the FO Wiki is hard!

Seriously, get it. It's lighter, has a better scope and better criticals.

I was having ideas for my third playthrough over the weekend...playing a proper survivalist style character, so only hunting style weapons and kit, no armour above light level, emphasis on stealth tactics etc.

Once I've got my lucky bastard playthrough done :D

to be honest, i got bored of this game fairly quickly... just sort of played through the story line and called it quits.

any interesting ideas for a playthrough that'll keep me entertained?

If you haven't chosen the Wild Wasteland perk yet, I'd recommend giving that a try with a cowboy character (only using dynamite, hatchets, knives, revolvers, and lever-action guns)

To proper roleplay it, you should dress accordingly and focus on cowboy style skills...so survival, explosives, guns etc. Nothing too sciency/techy...like avoid plasma weapons altogether etc.

i'll definitely try to limit myself. i think a big part of why i always lost interest is just because there was too much to do, and too many options. with every gun / piece of gear available, it always got a bit too easy.

Heading out to get it out now, just looked at the wiki after starting the quest Debt Collector, now i know i'm heading towards it :)

EDIT: The rats in this caves are the toughest enemies i've come across, been murked three times by them :(

EDIT2: Hey wub, do you know if the anti-material rifle (gra) is worth the purchase for sniping? Or should i just stick to the sniper rifle? Or actually, shall i just stick to the hunting rifle? Please help, i'm very indecisive
