this and F3 were great, but i gave up on F:NV due to constant freezing on my ps3. anyone else get that issue, or are you guys PC/xbox gamers?
Happens all the time to me on PS3. Really annoying as FNV is a great game but more often than not it just leaves me feeling frustrated. Only happens on FNV, no other games.goodeh wrote:this and F3 were great, but i gave up on F:NV due to constant freezing on my ps3. anyone else get that issue, or are you guys PC/xbox gamers?
especially after a several hour looting spree when you finish a load of side quests and get some wicked gunsSheepShagga wrote:Happens all the time to me on PS3. If you direct it to the power grids, you get karma depending on where.idontreallygiveashit wrote:I'm at the Helios One power plant and i need to choose where to direct the energy... which is the best option?
Yeah this happens all time for me. Do either of you have a newer slim PS3? Mine is an older fat model, wondering if the older PS3's are more prone to freezing.SheepShagga wrote:Happens all the time to me on PS3. However, you direct it to the other satellite, you can get the orbital strike weapon. You just need to find whose got the targeting module...they're running around with it and don't even realise it...
Seriously, get it. It's lighter, has a better scope and better criticals.idontreallygiveashit wrote:Teeheehee, i armed Archimedes without killing everyone and got euclid's c-finderwub wrote:If you direct it to the power grids, you get karma depending on where.idontreallygiveashit wrote:I'm at the Helios One power plant and i need to choose where to direct the energy... which is the best option?

Still on the lookout for that custom varmint, although i have all the mods for it anyway now. Resisting the urge to look at the FO Wiki is hard!
If you haven't chosen the Wild Wasteland perk yet, I'd recommend giving that a try with a cowboy character (only using dynamite, hatchets, knives, revolvers, and lever-action guns)Phigure wrote:to be honest, i got bored of this game fairly quickly... just sort of played through the story line and called it quits.
any interesting ideas for a playthrough that'll keep me entertained?
To proper roleplay it, you should dress accordingly and focus on cowboy style skills...so survival, explosives, guns etc. Nothing too sciency/techy...like avoid plasma weapons altogether etc.Phigure wrote:yeah i've played with wild wasteland, but the cowboy idea sounds great. will give it a try right now
Heading out to get it out now, just looked at the wiki after starting the quest Debt Collector, now i know i'm heading towards itwub wrote:Seriously, get it.
