It's a shame that such criticsm (which was expected) should be seen as the views of the wider audience, as this certainly isn't the case.
It's true, the response from this forum has been negative, however, it's a forum and does not represent the views of the millions of Dubstep fans around the world, unless the millions of fans are all signed up to these forums? - Doubtful.
We look forward to an excellent event and an excellent turn-out, along with an excellent awards!

However, if your Facebook wall is anything to go by, Dubstep is about pouting American teenagers with mobile phone mirror pics as their profiles, begging you to include Skr*llex on the lineup. That, in my own PERSONAL opinion, is not Dubstep.
But that's blatantly the market they're trying to tap. Fresh outta college/school, disposable income and into the new wave dubstep. I know it's too late and all, but people really shouldn't treat this as an awards ceremony for Dubstep as we (mostly) on this forum see/hear it. It's a massive rave, selling the current pop dubstep vibe. It ain't for me (esp. after the DNB awards), but there is a huge audience for this, so more power to em.NRHc wrote:exactly lol,I'm pretty sure you will get like you say "an excellent turn-out" BUT it will be mostly ukf and inspector dubplate kidswub wrote:Fair play to you; respect the attitude you're carrying with this and all.dubstepmusicawards wrote:Everyone, is of course, entitled to their own PERSONAL opinions.
