Dude, $12 would ship it. Every single thing this guy has done on ebay was buy. This is his first time selling, and it is very apparent that it is hurting him. He is transferring his hurt my way. To which I say suck bruv, your a dick.
Neways, so I got an RNC for 124 and a porta ministudio for 30, all shipped. Not so bad.

Absolutely. Youll enjoy that RNC for sure. Lurv it all over a kick drum. Super nice mode on a bus...of anything...

Yeah, I sold an Art Pro VLA II a while ago, and fucking was majorly regretting it. That boy was pretty damn smooth. And now! I'm going to be printing to tape with no compression first?! Hells of no. Honestly, still, I wish I had that VLA back. I might pick up a 3630 or something (thanks wubz for turning me around on that one) for like $50. That way I'll have 4 channels of comp going into tape.
And still would like that VLA for *mastering* down to tape.
*x* = ironic stars.

My $.99 ministudio arrived today. Everything seems to be checking out in the 15 minutes fortune has allowed me.

Getting high off of head cleaner. Tangential benefits to tape.

Yeah it does look amazing.
However when I played an original Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 a while back it did have it's own special sound too. Can do some heavy bass. Is basically the classic John Carpenter synth you'll find on stuff like Halloween III. It also can sound like Boards Of Canada except without the woozy old tape machine sound (leading me to believe that actually for real BOC is Sequential Circuits synths on battered tape
Prophet 12 however is massively advanced and still has an amazing sound of it's own though. Plus so much easier and more reliable.
Dave Smith overall just is a genius really (Especially considering his contributions towards the development in MIDI and creating stuff like the Prophet T8. Probably the most expressive synth ever performance ability wise on it's keyboard).
In fact the T8 is why there's standard MIDI messages for note off velocity and Polyphonic aftertouch in the original MIDI specification. It had them, almost none since have though but as was Dave Smith developing MIDI and was his instrument he's making at the same time it was included.

Just pre-ordered a MeeBlip anode: http://meeblip.com/ Frees up the Mopho for melodies/mono leads
...three simultaneous layers of MIDI: Sequencer, 5 part drum machine, CC commands. Pre mapped for Volcas, Mopho/Tetra, MeeBlip, Shruti...
I totally don't need this sequencer with Maschine...but it seems as intuitive and fun as a Monomachine or ESX...I could add a Volca drums and have a fun little setup...though an ESX would do more and cost less ;p
